Os restos mortais de mamutes surgem com frequência na região, mas costumam ser vendidos a coleccionadores de fósseis. Em sinal de gratidão, a cria recebeu o nome de Lyuba, a mulher de Yuri.
on the left, the sheperd yuri khundi has found the skeleton of a baby mammoth with 40 thousand years, on the tongue of Yamal - Siberia, in may 2007, and reported to the authorities. Skeletons are often found in the region, and sold on the black market. In gratitude, the baby was named Lyuba, after Yuri's wife.
